Schnitzel, salad, french fries, hand cheese ... Sorry, but except for the fries, it wasn't all good at all, to put it kindly.

We had Handkäs Schnitzel with fries and salad the first and last time. Salad ready, dressing and from the previous day, fries too salty, schnitzel with hand cheese, way too much cheese and cold. Not recommended

Because of the current situation, small family businesses will face big problems. Supports these restaurants. Schnitzel and delicious hand cheese with music to take away are offered here. It is so worthwhile to help such restaurants and not to go to the classic take-aways. Always burger and pizza is not a solution. Think about where you put your money, the big ones will survive, the little ones won't! And this is really worth it !!!

Small menu, delicious food. In terms of ambience, we felt that we were transported back to the 1970s. The hand cheese is said to be legendary, we have not yet tested it today, but we will certainly do so.

Very nice and cozy village pub! The oak, also known Rappel, is a small traditional pub. The atmosphere is just great! Not to mention the food! Here you can get Frankfurt's best hand cheese! Home-made and incredibly delicious! These, there are classic with onion + cumin, or as so-called Bacon Rappler (hand cheese on salad with steamed onions and bacon). The Speck Rappler is my absolute Favorite! Lots of, for a very good price! To round off nicely another glass Äppler and the evening. Can only recommend the Rappel (For oak)! Go times back and test it yourself!

Local cider from its own winepress! And again a discovery nearby: delicious cider in a simple environment. The Handkäs' is also home-made and quite mild in taste - but too mild for me. There is a smoking room in the restaurant - for those who need it.

Quite good middle-class inn. Food tastes, at least what we had. The prices are still ok. The condition could have been a little friendlier, but it was still good. All in all, one can recommend.

If you like Handkaese with music, this is the place to go. Homemade simply top. Otherwise good and delicious.

Old school Hessian restaurant, the prices are amazing and the food is solid. The Apfelwein is fantastic.
